Copy Writing

Churchill Public Relations was founded by a writer, and so this is one of our company’s major strengths. Jennifer Churchill has an impressive writing resume that began when she worked for her high school newspaper in Grand Ledge, Michigan, continued as she studied Shakespeare and earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and enjoyed a successful career in journalism – as both an editor and a reporter – for many years. In 2001, she wrote The Woodworker’s Complete Shop Reference under the Popular Woodworking Books imprint, and founded and published a woman’s magazine – Ionia-Montcalm Magazine – which was sold in 2005 to a local newspaper publishing company.

A career in public relations and advertising followed, and Jennifer has written press releases and promotional materials for art schools, craft magazines, county health agencies, nonprofit hospital and home care systems, satellite communications, and small businesses of every variety, including OB-GYN and dental practices.

Below are examples of Jennifer's writing as a journalist, non-fiction writer, and as a PR representative for Churchill Public Relations clients.
